How monitors are Rated Most used monitors sold on the open market are rated in three categories: Class A, B, & C. Class "A" being the best, to "C", often times not worth considering unless you are looking for specialized parts. The above means nothing to the consumer and often times can be misleading to those who buy from wholesalers and brokers not honest.

How MDCCI Rates Monitors! Monitor displays are rated in 5 categories. (EX) for Excellent; (VG) for Very Good. (G) for Good, (F) for Fair, and (P) for Poor

Excellent means that the unit is in virtually factroy condiation. The case has no noticeable scratches,dents dimples, abrasions, and no discoloration in the case. The video is sharp, crisp and clear no noticeable defects.

Very Good means the unit has had service, the case may have one or two noticeable scratches,dents, dimples, abrasions and slight discoloration in the case. The CRT (picture tube) will have no scratches, the video is still somewhat sharp, crisp, and clear.

Good means the unit has had service, the case may have several noticeable scratches,dents,dimples,abrasions and the case may have modest discoloration. The CRT (picture tube) will have no scratches. The video has signs of slight deterioration in sharpness, crispness, and clearness.

Fair means unit has had a long service, the case may have noticeable defects and heavy discoloration. The CRT (picture tube) will have no scratches. Video shows modest deterioration in sharpness,crispness, and clearness, however still viewable .

Poor means unit may work or is dead, may want to look for another unit, if this is what you choose please recycle this unit it may have some useable parts for a service man.
